Following a rigorous audition process, a selection of the best young writers, directors, actors and producers of the future will gather at the Old Vic Theatre for one unique event. A company of fifty 18-25 year olds will produce seven new plays in just 24 hours. Raw talent, brazen ambition and sheer determination will result in an evening that is tipped to be the fastest-paced theatrical experience of the year.
Participants have included: Actors Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, Netflix), Charity Wakefield (Sense and Sensibility, BBC), Davide Ferretti (Enjoy, Gielgud) Joanna Christie (Equus, West End) and Danny Lee Wynter (Joe’s Palace and Capturing Mary, Poliakoff); writers Mike Bartlett (My Child and Contractions, Royal Court and Artefacts, The Bush) and Ella Hickson (The Writer, Almeida Theatre); director Mike Longhurst (Stovepipe, West 12 and Dirty Butterfly, Young Vic Jerwood Directors' Prize) and producer Imogen Kinchin (Spring Awakening, Lyric Hammersmith & West End).
