Old Vic New Voices / TS Eliot US/UK Exchange 2011
Are you ready to take a bite of the Big Apple or live it large in London?
The 2011 TS Eliot US/UK Exchange - the ultimate transatlantic experience for 100 of London and NYC’s top actors, writers, directors and producers, aged 21-30.
Those selected will spend a week living in their sister city, learning from top industry professionals, and developing plays to be performed on the historic stages of The Old Vic or a central Manhattan venue.
Through the Exchange, participants will expand their knowledge of the opportunities and obstacles involved with working transatlantically, and develop many professional relationships in both cities. With meetings and workshops that provide both practical benefits and offer alternative methods of developing and creating work, the Exchange benefits individuals who are talented, open-minded, ambitious and intellectually curious.
“To go to a new city with a new group of colleagues to create new plays, new experiences was such a gift” – 2010 participant
